Rules of Bingo

2 August 2010 by admin, No Comments

Some Bingo halls around the World can have big cash prizes so certain rules must be followed.

You should only buy the amount of cards you can manage as if you can not keep up the caller will not hang around. When the caller announcers a ball you should pay attention as you do not want to mark the wrong number off. Most bingo halls will require you to be quite quiet in the hall whilst a game is in session as other players will get quite agitated if there is a lot of noise around them.

Most bingo halls in the United Kingdom will require you to be a member most will not let you play unless you are. You can only be in the hall if you have purchased tickets. If you are not there alone you will be able to help out on your friends cards.

If you think you have a winning card you should shout out. You should shout out different words depending on the combination of numbers you have. There are no official rules on what you should shout but most people tend to shout ‘Bingo’ or ‘Yes’. Make sure you are loud and clear when shouting as if you are quiet you might be missed and someone else may get your prize. When you have shouted, a member of the bingo hall will come over to verify you card. If you have won a cash prize it will be more than likely collected after the game has finished.
