What is Bingo and how to play
Bingo is a game in which there are several players. It is a game of luck and chance. The game is unlimited to how many players it can have. Bingo can be played for money in a bingo hall or for fun.
The game works by each player having a numbered card. The card will have 27 spaces and 15 of those spaces will contain a number. The square numbered spaces will have columns and each column will have a specific number range. The first column will contain a number form 1-9, the second column numbers fro 10-19 and the will have 20-29 and so on till you reach 80-90. The numbers you will tick off your card will be generated by a Random Number Generator or in less sophisticated ways pulling counters out if bag or using a mechanical draw machine. Most modern bingo halls will use the Random Number Generator. The number will be called and if the number is on you card you mark it off.
To win in a game of bingo you can have a various different combinations they include; a line which cover 5 horizontal numbers on the card, Two lines which cover any two lines on the ticket or a full house which covers all 15 lines on the card. If you think you have a winning card you will shout out bingo and the game will start again. The cards are usually bought in books of six but will vary depending on which country you are playing in.
